I wanna flash back to 5 years ago. I that time, Batam Island free port and the business growing up better. And can give the tax contribution better that other region in the country. Every weekend, more than one million tourist from Singapore, Malaysia and other country come down to Batam to get the comfortable place to relax and sex. In that time, the business so good and the money is easy to find. This condition changed in 2003, after former President Megawati Soekarnoputri declare that Batam Island is like other island in Indonesia. No different between Batam Island and other island. That is the agony business in Batam Island.
But now, after more than five years the people of Batam and the local government struggle to get the new regulation, the dream will come true. That is, Batam Island will get to move fast making they self as the best place to choose. Make money in Batam Island please. (!)
